Our Mission of Inclusion

Aspire’s mission is to support the successes of people with disabilities, strengthen their families, and build embracing communities. Our vision is to create a community where people of all abilities live, learn, and grow together.

 

Our Community Impact

Aspire currently provides service support to an estimated 1,000 individuals and 600 households in the greater Chicagoland area and Southeastern Wisconsin. As a leader in disability services, Aspire stands out from other service providers by:

  • Creating mutually beneficial partnerships to strengthen communities from within.
  • Investing in innovative solutions to drive person-centered results.
  • Promoting models for inclusion beyond society’s expectations.
 

Our Innovative Programs


Living provides an array of community-based housing options and services to assist people with disabilities to live with greater self-sufficiency and engage in more life experiences.

 

Life Enrichment programs are curriculum-based learning opportunities to support people with disabilities in their pursuit to achieve their personal and professional goals.

 

Community Careers offers job training and career engagement services for adults with disabilities to develop a career path that is driven by their strengths and interests. While also helping them experience the independence and pride that accompanies workplace inclusion and gainful employment.

 

Social Enterprises provide meaningful employment for people with disabilities and help generate revenue for Aspire, making us not as reliant on government funding and grants. 

  • Aspire CoffeeWorks in partnership with Metropolis Coffee Company, produces high-quality craft coffee that is packaged by people with disabilities.
  • Aspire Art360 offers artists with disabilities the opportunity to build a career in the arts by selling their artwork to individual collectors and corporations.

Inclusive Solutions empowers and equips organizations and businesses to prioritize the inclusion of people with disabilities through a consultative approach with a focus on cultivating inclusive mindsets, adopting inclusive behaviors, and building inclusive systems.
