KARINA

Karina can be described best as someone who speaks softly and carries a big stick. Around strangers, she is very quiet, but when she’s with her friends, she’s sassy and spunky. She’s always super friendly and has a smile that will light up a room.

Karina lives in one of Aspire’s community homes where she’s developed a strong bond with her housemates. Like any young adult, she loves hanging out with them and her other close friends. Karina has worked at the Oak Park Fitness Center for many years and continues to use the skills she learns at Aspire’s Career Academy to help her at her job, where she does a little bit of everything – she keeps the club clean, does the laundry, and works the front desk.

They say a rolling stone gathers no moss – and Karina is definitely a rolling stone! Between her participation in the Career Academy, her job, her ballet classes, and swimming, Karina stays busy, active and social in the community!
